Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator that works with your body to help rebuild collagen lost with aging or illness. Common treatment areas include deep folds between the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds), also called (smile lines), lines framing the mouth(marionette lines), and chin wrinkles. Sculptra® is made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist. Over time, Sculptra helps the body reproduce lost collagen with results lasting up to 2 years.
Collagen is a fibrous protein in the deep dermis that gives skin structure and supports the functions of elastin and hyaluronic acid (HA), which helps maintain the skin's shape, while keeping it smooth and hydrated. A healthy supply of collagen makes for a more youthful-looking complexion.
Sculptra® is administered by a SkinReMEDI Aesthetic Injector to correct shallow to deep wrinkles and folds on the face.

The number of Sculptra® appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary depending the aesthetic goals of the patient and on how much collagen has been lost. On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months.

Treatments take approximately 20-30 mins and additional 30 minutes for pre-treatment prep to ensure comfortability during your visit.
There is no downtime after Sculptra but your SkinReMEDI Aesthetic Injector will provide you with post-treatment protocols which will be important to follow.
