The laser providers at SkinReMEDI use the Long Pulsed YAG Laser on our Spectrum device to precisely treat visible vessels, broken capillaries, spider veins, and vascular lesions using laser energy. The laser delivers energy to the skin, which is absorbed by blood vessels, scars, port wine stains, hemangiomas, and other vascular lesions. This relatively quick, comfortable procedure can eliminate blood vessels. Usually, the vessels collapse during the treatment session, but there can be some post-treatment redness and swelling.
There is minimal downtime for this treatment. Results for most patients are immediate. It’s important to continue to use sun protection and follow the instructions in your post-treatment protocol your laser provider will share with you.
